Use Build Agent to update an existing application in ServiceNow Studio through a conversational interaction.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: admin

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllApp EngineServiceNow Studio.
2. Open Build Agent from the lower-right status bar.
3. Start a new chat, and select Update an app.
4. Continue the conversation with Build Agent until you've completed the details of your update.
For example, if you want to add more data to your app, prompt Build Agent to create a new table or update an existing table.
5. Review the task plan that Build Agent gives you for the updates you want to make.
6. Move forward in the conversation by either selecting Approve plan or continuing to prompt Build Agent to make updates to the plan.
After you have approved the plan, Build Agent completes the task and opens a change log for you to review the changes that were made to your app. The change log contains information on files created or changed during the course of the conversation.

For more information, see [Build Agent conversation change log](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/4ghsL~r8zzxK4I7eqs1U5w "After Build Agent completes the changes you request, you can find information about the updates in the change log that automatically appears in a new integrated tab in ServiceNow Studio.").
7. Continue the conversation with Build Agent to keep adding or updating files in your application.
8. When you've completed all your changes, prompt Build Agent to <kbd class="ph userinput">Mark the conversation complete</kbd>.
Build Agent displays a success message if your changes were successfully built and deployed. Each checkpoint is packaged for deployment in an update set. From the home page, select the Deployment tab to see all of your update sets.
