Selecting an application from the application scope list in Table Builder
enables you to customize form views for the users of the selected application in the ServiceNow AI Platform.

Application scoping protects applications by identifying and restricting access to application
files and data. As an administrator, you can specify what parts of an application are accessible
to other applications, which helps to protect data and application files. In Table Builder, you and your developers can set an application scope when you are
working with a table or form.

Changing the scope in Table Builder also changes the scope in the ServiceNow AI Platform®, and changing the scope in the ServiceNow AI Platform® will
change the scope in Table Builder.

When you are creating a form, you must be aware of the scope that you are working in. Choose
the correct application scope for a table, form, or policy. The Select scope list is near the Select Domain list. The scope defaults
to the scope that the user is in within the ServiceNow AI Platform®. If your users change
to a different scope while in a page, they are notified that they are in a different application
scope from the one that the form was created in.
