Use the Pipelines and Deployments guided setup to complete the initial configuration of Pipelines and Deployments. Detailed instructions for each step are provided in subsequent sections of the product documentation.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: admin

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

The Pipelines and Deployments guided setup provides a sequence of tasks that help you configure Pipelines and Deployments on the ServiceNow AI Platform. For more information about each task, see [Pipelines and Deployments configuration tasks](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/OI0YvspYVXHlMLti4FiNhw "As you work through the Pipelines and Deployments guided setup, you must perform different configuration tasks on each of your instances.").

Starting with version 28.2.1 of Pipelines and Deployments, you can migrate your existing pipelines to ReleaseOps. To learn more about the migration process and the advantages of migrating to ReleaseOps, see [Migrating App Engine pipelines to ReleaseOps](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/LlyG~zdK2FerFKvEnup83Q "Starting with version 28.2.1 of AEMC, you can migrate your existing App Engine pipelines to ReleaseOps. Learn more about the migration process and benefits of migrating to ReleaseOps."). To get started migrating your existing pipelines, see [Migration tasks](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/ipP6X7wgrT1x~lPlygDGWQ "You must complete several tasks to migrate your App Engine pipelines to ReleaseOps.").

For general information about guided setup, see [Using guided setup](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=guided-setup&version=australia&pubname=australia-platform-user-interface&ft:locale=en-US).

2. To initiate guided setup, select Get Started.
The Pipelines and Deployments Guided Setup category page provides a list of different categories of tasks you must complete before you can use Pipelines and Deployments.
   Nota:
If you have previously started any of the guided setup tasks, and then exited without completing them, the Get Started button will be labeled Continue.

   Importante:
Each of the tasks in the following list must be performed on different environments in your pipeline.
3. Select the first Get Started button to begin performing configuration tasks on your production environment.
   1. [Configure environment credentials](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/_7QF5y2NG0QDWG8cJjHU5A "Configure credentials in your production instance so that the flows used by the App Engine Management Center (AEMC) can access different instances.").
   2. [Configure your pipeline environments](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/O2n_EgyX47hYCPl9AqEJuw "Set up your app development production and non-production environments (for example, development, test, and/or staging) by adding the URLs and credentials used to access each instance.").
   3. [Configure your pipeline](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/KMniirzfhMBai~xZXAc~Uw "Configure your app development pipeline so that your administrator can quickly move an application from one environment to another.").
   4. [Add users to the App Engine Admin group](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/blJ5mUdv~f6sBi~_Lh956w "Add users to the App Engine Admin group in your production instance to give them administrative rights to App Engine Studio (AES). You must also identify a contact email address for the group. After you configure the email address of the App Engine Admin group, members can receive notifications for app development-related requests, including app intake requests.").
   5. [Add ATF and instance scan suites for testing](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/DH4BTDLvpVikENQnfjSRmA "Add your customized test suites as part of an application deployment in addition to the instance scan and Automated Test Framework (ATF) testing suites that are standard in AEMC.").
      Nota:
You can add ATF and instance scan suites for testing only if you've already created them and set up your testing instance. If you have not done this yet, you must come back to this step.
   6. [Enable Change Management integration](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/20wP81St3aoXJBil~igSIA "Enable Change Management integration with AEMC so that deployments through the pipeline to the production environment are automatically scheduled based on the Change request state and planned change window.").
