Cloud spend analytics
Use the Cloud spend analytics tab to:
- Review cloud resource spending over configurable time periods (e.g., current month, or 3, 6, 9, 12 months).
- Group spend data by attributes such as Provider, Purchase option, Region, Service account, Service category, Cloud service, Resource group, and Tag category.
- Filter results using multiple criteria including Provider, Master Service Account, Region, and Tag categories for refined insights.
Note that nested tag values are not supported for spend viewing.
Kubernetes spend analytics
The Kubernetes spend analytics tab allows you to:
- Analyze Kubernetes-related cloud costs within selectable time frames.
- Group spend by Kubernetes cluster, namespace, or Tag category.
- Select cost types as Actual cost (direct cloud service charges) or Amortized cost (spread out reservation fees over billing periods).
- Filter data by Provider, Service Account, Kubernetes cluster, Namespace, Purchase option, and Tag categories.
- View detailed cost breakdowns per Kubernetes cluster and namespace.
Shared cost analytics
With the Shared cost analytics tab, you can:
- Examine spending on shared cloud resources over selected time periods.
- Group costs by similar attributes as Cloud spend analytics, including Provider, Region, Service category, and Tag category.
