Create VIs for software for exposure assessment

    • Create vulnerable items (VIs) from the Exposure Assessment page. Vulnerability event managers then analyze this list of VIs and recommend solutions and patches that help the IT team to patch these vulnerabilities.

    Role required: sn_vul_analyst.vul_event_manager

    Procedimento

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Vulnerability Assessment Workspace > Exposure Assessment > Assess by Software.
    2. Select the records for which you want to create VIs.
    3. Select the Create Vulnerable Items option.
    4. In the Create vulnerable items dialog box, select from:
      • Existing vulnerability
      • New vulnerability
    5. Select the Create Vulnerable Items option.
