  • ServiceNow Employee Center application is packaged as two separate ServiceNow Store applications: Employee Center and Employee Center Pro.

    Employee Center is delivered to all customer as a pre-installed application, and Employee Center Pro is a licensed application and must be separately installed. For more information, see Install Employee Center Pro.
    Note:
    • If you are a new or upgrade customer, download the latest Employee Center or Employee Center Pro application from ServiceNow Store.
    • Ensure that you are on Rome version or later.
    • To upgrade from Employee Center to Employee Center Pro, you must subscribe and Install Employee Center Pro from ServiceNow Store.

    Employee Center application is available by default. This portal is loaded with a lot of latest widgets and a modern portal theme that gives an employee-centric content delivery experience.

    The latest widgets are made available only after you install Employee Center from the ServiceNow Store.

    Employee Center Pro home page widgets

    Employee Center Pro extends the standard Employee Center capabilities and provides additional features, such as.

    You can now use the out-of-the-box enhanced home page (ec_home and​ ec_pro_home) to offer an actionable and more personalized service delivery experience.
    • Better widgets order for ease of use with Quick Links central.​
    • Added new widgets and enhancements to support more personalized content and actionable items.
    • Enhanced My active Items widget to allow approvals directly from the home page​.
    • Show Recently accessed topic pages, applications, recommended for you, and favorites using the recents framework.
    • Added new updates such as My Favorites and Get support​.

    New home page is not displayed when you have a customized home page.
