Create catalog personas

  • Create catalog user personas to control the catalog items that consumers can access on their instance.

    About this task

    Personas are used to restrict user access to remote catalog items in the Service Exchange for Consumers application. You can associate personas with remote record producers (RRPs) and these personas can be assigned to user through the Authorized Users table. To access items protected by personas, the user's Authorized User record must be approved by the provider, activated in the consumer instance, and have the appropriate persona(s). For more details on authorized users and personas, see Service Exchange Authorized Users and personas.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Service Bridge Provider > Administration > Catalog Personas.
    2. Click New.
    3. Enter a name and description for the catalog persona.
    4. Click Submit.
