Edit or view a child task

  • View or update a task whenever you want to get the details or update the progress.

    Before you begin

    Verify that you have installed the required plugins.

    Role required: sn_wsd_case.workplace_agent

    Procedure

    1. Log in to Agent Workplace Service for Mobile application.
      The launch screen opens with your Work view.
    2. On the Work view page, go to any one of the following sections to view the cases and tasks.
      • My work overview
      • My work
      • Group work
      • Unassigned work
    3. Optional: If you know the parent case of the task, select the case.
      The case details page opens separately.
    4. Select the task.
      The task details page opens separately.
    5. To go to the location specified in the task, select the Location icon (Location icon.).
      The map opens. Select Get directions to know the directions.
    6. To edit the task details, do the following:
      1. Select Edit.
      2. On the Edit task form, change the fields that you want to edit.
      3. Select Submit.
        The task details are updated.
    7. To view the activities performed on the task, and to add any notes or attachments, do the following:
      1. Select the Activity tab.
      2. To add a comment, select Add Comment.
      3. To attach a file, select Attach file icon..
      4. To attach photos, select Attach photo icon..
      5. To take a photo or video, select Attach photo or video icon..
    8. To perform other actions, select the More options icon. icon on the top-right of the header and do the following:
      1. To update the checklist of the task, select Update checklist.
        On the Checklist page, select the checklist items that you want to add.
      2. To update the current state of the task, select Update state.
        1. On the Update state form, select the state to which you want to update the task.
        2. Select Submit.
        The state is updated.
      3. To add a comment, select Add comment.
        You can also add a comment directly from the details page using the Comment option.
        1. Enter your work notes in the Work notes field.
        2. To add additional comments, enter the comments in the Additional comments (Customer visible).
        3. Select Post.
        The comments are posted.
      4. To view, add, or edit the attachments, select View attachments.
        1. On the Attachment page, view the list of attachments.
        2. To edit an attachment, select the Edit icon. icon.
        3. To delete an attachment, select the Delete icon. icon.
        4. To preview an image, select the image directly.
    9. To save the task for quick reference, select the Quick reference icon. icon.
      The task is saved in the Saved tab. You can view the task at any time from this tab directly.
