Configuring Proactive Prompts
As an admin, install the Proactive Prompts application and configure it to display relevant prompts to the managers and employees in your organization, enabling workflow efficiency and quicker turnaround.
A signal is the configuration for prompts about when to send them, what to send, whom to send them to, where to send them, and related actions to generate and deliver them. You can define whom to send the signal to, how often, and on what channels. Proactive Prompts supports all Conversational Interface (CI) channels apart from the portal.
Configuring Proactive Prompts is a multi-step process:
- Creating a signal. A signal determines when to send the prompt, what to send, whom to send it to, where to send it, and related actions to generate and deliver the prompts.
- Creating a data source for the signal. The signal data source brings in the most relevant information for managers or employees.
- Configuring channels. Choose where to display the prompts to most benefit the users.
- Configure actions. Determine actions to generate and deliver the prompts.
- Configuring schedules. Choose the frequency to process the data from the data source and generate prompts in the selected channels.
