Review a contract document

  • As a contract user, review the contract document and submit change request to the contract fulfiller for a non-disclosure agreement.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_cm_core.contract_user and sn_lg_ops.legal_user

    About this task

    • Change requests can be submitted only by users who have initiated the contract request or for whom it was initiated, and the Contract state is Work in progress
    • The Request changes option is not available if a previously submitted change request is not completed.

    Procedure

    1. Open a legal request.

      1. Navigate to All > Employee Center
      2. Select My Requests option on the header menu.
      3. Open your submitted non-disclosure agreement request.
      Legal Service Portal
      1. Navigate to All > Legal Request > Legal Counsel Center
      2. Select the List icon (List icon).
      3. Select View all requests.
      4. Open your submitted non-disclosure agreement request.
    2. Select the Contract document tab.
    3. Access the contract document.

      From internal storage
      1. Select Preview document.
      2. In the drop-down list, select the contract type.
      3. Select Preview to view the document.
      From external storage Select the link in the URL column.

      The document opens from the external storage.

    4. Review the contract document.

      No change is required Send the document for signature.

      Changes are required

      Submit a change request.

      1. From the Actions drop-down list, select Request Changes.
      2. In the Request Changes dialog box, describe the desired changes.
      3. Select Submit.

        The change request is submitted for the contract document and the change request details are added to the Activity stream.

      • When a contract request has been assigned to a contract fulfiller, the contract status changes to Changes requested and the Contract state remains in Work in progress to indicate that a change request has been submitted.
      • If a contract request is not assigned to anyone, its state changes to New and it is listed as unassigned in the Legal Counsel Center for a contract fulfiller to work on.
