Cancel an obligation task

  • Cancel an open obligation task in Obligation Management that is no longer required.

    About this task

    Note:
    Obligation tasks that are not submitted or awaiting approval are automatically canceled when you deactivate the parent obligation record.

    Before you begin

    Obligation tasks must be in Open, Submitted, or Awaiting approval state.

    You must be the group manager of the approver group or the approver of the obligation task.

    Role required: sn_cm_obligation.obligation_fulfiller

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Legal Request > Legal Counsel Center.
    2. Select the List icon (List icon).
    3. Navigate to Obligations > All obligation tasks.
    4. Select the obligation task.
    5. Select Cancel.
    6. In the Cancel obligation task window, add a required comment and select OK.

    Result

    The state of the obligation task changes to Canceled.
