    • Configure Outside Firm records to enable the assignment of outside counsels to review and process the patent filing of Legal Invention Disclosure requests.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_lg_matter.matter_config

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Legal Matter > Outside Counsel Setup > Setup Outside Firms.
    2. Select New.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.
      Table 1. Outside Firm New Record form
      Field Description
      Outside Firm Name Name of the outside firm.
      Description Detailed description about the outside firm.
      Office Name Name of the office of the outside firm.
      Street Address Address of the outside firm.
      PO Box number Post box number of the outside firm.
      City City where the outside firm is located.
      State/Province State or province where the outside firm is located.
      Country Country where the outside firm is located.
      Active Option to make the Outside Firm record active.
    4. Select Submit.
