Register a contractor company through Employee Center

    • Register a contractor company to initiate its health and safety onboarding process with safety contractor coordinators in your organization.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_hs_crm.reporter

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Self-Service > Employee Center.
    2. In the Employee Center, under the Health and Safety menu, select Contractor management and then select Register a contractor company.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.
      1. Enter the company name and select an appropriate industry type for the company.
      2. Add a primary contact from the contractor company.

        This field displays only users who have been assigned the [snc_external] role and have a Health and Safety profile created for them.

    4. Select Submit.

    Result

    • The contractor company is registered for health and safety.
    • The contractor company is listed in the Contractor companies list on Health and Safety Workspace. A safety contractor coordinator [sn_hs_crm.contractor_coordinator] can view all the registered companies by navigating to the Health and Safety Workspace and selecting the contractor management icon (Contractor management icon).
