As a ServiceNow admin with the external_app_install_admin role, download the Microsoft Viva solution package to your ServiceNow instance. Your Microsoft SharePoint administrator will then deploy the package to enable the Microsoft Viva card on the Microsoft SharePoint home site.

Before you begin

Role required: external_app_install_admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > ServiceNow for Microsoft 365 > Microsoft Viva Connections > Viva Package.
2. Select Download package.
3. Unzip the Microsoft Viva package.

What to do next

Ensure that the Microsoft Viva integrations package is deployed in Microsoft SharePoint, either by you if you have Microsoft SharePoint administrator privileges or by your site's Microsoft SharePoint administrator.
