Import hazards and controls from a job

    • Import hazards and controls from a pre-defined job in the job register to a risk assessment.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_hs_rm.risk_assessment_manager or sn_hs_rm.risk_assessment_writer

    About this task

    You can conduct a risk assessment for the jobs in your organization to identify associated hazards and assign a risk rating to each job hazard. For information on pre-defined jobs, see Jobs in the job register.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Health and Safety > Health and Safety Workspace.
    2. Select the risk management icon (Risk assessment icon).
    3. Select the Risk assessment list and then All.
    4. Open the risk assessment to import the hazards and controls.
    5. Select Import hazards and controls.
    6. In the Select jobs to import hazards and controls from field, select the job.
    7. Select Import.
      All hazards and controls from the selected job are imported.
    8. Review the imported hazards and their controls to assess their risk levels.

    Result

    All hazards and controls from the selected job are imported and listed in the Risks and controls tab of the risk assessment.
