Create a task template

  • Journey owners (managers) and mentors create templates of tasks, such as scheduling a meeting or taking a learning course, to assign to employees' journeys.

    Before you begin

    Role required: Modifier [sn_jny.writer]

    Procedure

    1. From the Employee Center, navigate to Journeys > My templates.
    2. Select Create task template.
    3. Complete the form to create a task template.

      Field Description
      Task type
      • General Task
      • Schedule a meeting
      • Take a learning course
      Select a task type to display other fields in the form.
      Task name A descriptive name of the task.
      This task is for Select from a list of user types employee, manager, mentor, or specify the name of the employee that this task is for.
      Watchlist Add additional people to be notified about this task.
      Task description Details about this task.
      Due Date Select by when the employee must complete the task.
      This task is optional Select this check box to make the task optional.
    4. Select Create task template.
