Edit a contract clause variation

    • Edit a clause variation to modify the content that will be used in a contract template.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_cm_core.contract_config

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Contracts Core > Contract Administration > Clause Management.
    2. Select a clause.
    3. In the Clause Variations related list, select the clause variation.
    4. On the form Clause Variation form, edit the fields that you want to modify.
      For a description of the field values, see Clause Variation form.
    5. Right-click in the form header and select Save.
      The imported document is parsed and the content controls extracted are listed in the Clause Variation Fields related list.
    6. Select Update.

    Result

    If the updated clause variation is associated with a published contract template and new fields are available after parsing, the Unmapped meta data related list appears with the unmapped fields listing.
