Resolve the failure to send external contract documents for signature (Contract Management Pro 1.2.1)

  • Update signatory details in an external contract document in Contract Management Pro when there is a failure in sending the document for signature due to a mismatch between the signatory information in the contract request and the contract document.

    About this task

    Note:
    If you are using Contract Management Pro version 1.2.1 and the contract document is an internal document stored in your ServiceNow instance, signatories are automatically updated in the contract document when you send it for signature.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_cm_core.contract_user, sn_cm_core.contract_fulfiller

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to your workspace.
    2. Open the contract request.
    3. Select the Signatories tab.
    4. Select the signatory.
    5. Update the signatory information.
    6. Select Save.
    7. Select the Contracts documents tab.
    8. Select Sync document.
      A new contract document revision is created with the updated signatory information.
    9. Select Save to save the contract request.
    10. Select Send for signature.
