  • Place an alert in the Acknowledged state if the alert has issues that must be addressed. You can acknowledge an alert without assigning it to yourself.

    Before you begin

Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
You are taken to your SRM homepage.
      Note:
If you have other SOW applications, and depending on your assigned roles, that homepage may not be the SRM homepage. It is the SOW homepage instead, with SRM alerts and incidents included in your metrics. In that case, to view SRM specific areas, select SRM modules from the left navigation pane.
    2. From the left navigation pane, select the reliability tasks icon (Reliability tasks icon).
    3. Select the Alerts tab.
    4. Check the box next to one or more alerts that you want to acknowledge.
    5. Select Acknowledge.
You’re assigned to the alert or alerts that you have chosen. For more information on the alert form and actions, see SRM alert states.
      Note:
You can acknowledge an alert from the Alert form itself by selecting the Acknowledged check box, however, the alert isn’t automatically assigned to you. You must select an assignee in the Assigned to field and select Save. See SRM alert workspace.

For more information on the alert form and actions, see SRM alert workspace or SRM alert states.
