Run Tuning checks

    • Tuning checks are scans aimed at optimizing configurations, grouped into suites with each specific check detailed below.

    Before you begin

    Role required: discovery_admin or admin

    About this task

    The configured checks are listed under the following tabs:

    • Discovery suite
    • MID suite
    • Self Monitoring suite

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Discovery Admin Workspace > Tuning.
    2. Select Checks.
    3. To manually run a check for Discovery suite, MID suite, or Self Monitoring suite, select Run now.
      Note:

      The instance scan can only run one at a time, so wait for the in-progress scan to finish before re-running the suite.

    4. To access more information about an issue, select the check name.
      Note:
      • To understand the issue, select the Show check description link.
      • To know more details on the issue, select the Documentation on the check link.
      • To view the definition page, select the Check definition page link. To edit a check, see Edit an existing check.
