Apply a sales agreement to a quote in Quote Management

  • Agents can add a sales agreement to a quote while they are building the quote. The sales agreements conditions are then applied to the quote.

    Role required: sales_agent and sales_manager

    About this task

    A sales agreement is a contract to order a set of products and services for a set price. Sales agreements let agents move quickly through the quote process because the sales agreements establish the products and pricing for the quote.
    • Sales agreement terms are defaulted for the quote.​
    • Price lists are defaulted based on the pricing terms in the sales agreement​.
    • The quote catalog is filtered for products and options by the terms of the sales agreement​.
    • Agents can configure product bundles for quotes with sales agreements.
    • When a new revision of a quote is created, sales agreement references on quote header and quote line items are carried over to the revised quote.
    • When an order is created from a quote, the sales agreement references on quote header and quote line items is carried over to the order.
    Note:
    Consumer quotes do not have sales agreement references present on quote header or quote line items.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Quote > All-Quotes and select the quote you’re working with.
    2. In the Quote form, find the Sales Agreement field and select the sales agreement you want.
    3. Select Save.

      The sales agreement with its product offerings and price lists is added to the quote.
