Create a credential for the IBMTranslation alias

    About this task

    Important:
    IBM has announced the deprecation of the IBM Watson Translator Service for IBM Cloud in all regions. As of June 10, 2023, the Language Translator tile will be removed from the IBM Cloud Platform for new customers; only existing customers will be able to access the product. As of June 10, 2024, the service will reach its End of Support date. As of December 10, 2024, the service will be withdrawn entirely and will no longer be available to any customers.     Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Connections & Credentials > Credentials.
    2. Click New.
    3. Select Basic Auth Credentials.
    4. In the Basic Auth Credentials form, fill the fields.

      Field Description
      Name Identifier of the credential.
      Order Sequence in which the credential is applied.
      User name User name to identify the connection. Enter apikey.
      Password Unique key provided by IBM to confirm the connection.
      Active Option to activate the credential for use.
      Credential alias Alias to use the credential.
    5. Select Submit.
