Assigning a territory on opportunity

  • You can update the primary territory on opportunity in which Sales Territory Management​ has been implemented.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sales territory admin (or a user with sales territory override role)

    Note:
    If an account is set with a territory, any Opportunity created from that account will inherit the territory as well. User with sales territory override role can override it.

    Procedure

    1. In the CSM Configurable Workspace, select the List view.
    2. Navigate to Opportunity > All and select the opportunity you want to update the territory.
    3. On the Details tab, update the Territory field with the other available territories.
    4. Select Save.
