Managing the price basis for MACD products
As a pricing admin or manager, you can control how prices are calculated for sold products after negotiating changes during quoting or when contract modifications occur to quote lines.
With the Delta Price Treatment Matrix, you can specify how pricing is to be handled after changes occur that affect the pricing basis. For example, you can specify the following types of pricing treatments:
- Apply Fresh Prices: Use current list pricing as the basis.
- Use Original Prices: Use original list price as basis for calculation.
- Retain Original Attribute Adjustments: Original attribute adjustments calculated from original list price.
- Set Net Prices to Zero; Zero out pricing for the line item.
- Honor Renewal Adjustments: Renew line items at prices specified in renewal adjustments.
