Create a lead

  • Create a lead in the Lead Management application by entering the details, such as customer name, sales stage, lead type, score, and source.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sales_agent

    Procedure

    1. In the CSM Configurable Workspace, select the List view.
    2. Navigate to Leads > All and select New.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      First Name First name of the lead.
      Last Name Last name of the lead.
      Email Email address of the lead.
      Mobile Phone Mobile number of the lead.
      Business Phone Business phone number of the lead.
      Title Title of the lead.
      Company Company name of the lead.
      Stage Current stage of the lead in the sales lifecycle. The available options are:
      • New
      • Contacted
      • Nurturing
      • Qualified
      • Disqualified
      Lead Source Channel or origin through which the lead was acquired. The available options are:
      • Inbound Phone
      • Inbound Web
      • Partner Referral
      • 3rd Party Referral
      • Employee Referral
      • List
      • Trade Show
      • Pr
      • Display Ad
      • Billboard
      • AI-Suggested
      • Other
    4. Select Create Lead.
      A message confirms that the lead was created. To continue working on the lead, select the link in the message.
    5. Select Refresh to see the new lead in the list.
