Rename an external content connector

    • Change the name of an existing external content connector.

    Vorbereitungen

    Ensure that the external content connector you want to rename is not currently running a crawl.

    Role required: ais_adminsn_ext_conn.xcc_admin

    Prozedur

    1. Use the application picker to switch to the External Content Connectors Admin application scope.
    2. Navigate to All > External Content Connectors > External Content Admin Home.
    3. In the Connectors pane, find the record for the connector you want to deactivate or delete, and open its context menu in one of the following ways:
      • Select the connector record's Overflow icon .
      • Long-press (or right-click) the connector record.
    4. In the context menu, select Manage.
      The connector's Configuration tab opens.
    5. Select the pencil icon .
      The Rename connector dialog box appears.
    6. Enter a new name for the connector, then select Save.
