User experience enhancements in the Risk Workspace
In the new workspace, several enhancements have been made to ease the way you perform your daily tasks. The user experience enhancements are useful for new GRC users or users who do not have the complete experience of GRC.
Views of the Risk Workspace
The new workspace offers the following views for the users.
- List view
- The list view shows a simplified list of all the modules. You can access the list view by
clicking the List icon (
).
- Record view
- The record view provides detailed information about any record. For example, in the risk statement form, you can view the complete hierarchy including the parent and children of the risk statement. This view provides the complete details including important information such as open indicator breaches, open issues, open risk events and so on.
Miscellaneous user experience improvements
- Overview pages of records
- The Overview tab of each record provides you a summary of all the information you need in a single view. For example, for a risk record you can see KRI breaches, the controls failures, the number of issues open, the open indicator tasks, the number of risks assessed and so on.
- Contextual side panel for records
- The Contextual side panel of a record provides detailed related information for the
records. For example, for a risk, you can see the parent and child hierarchy. You can display
and close the Contextual side panel by clicking the reference icon (
).
- Tasks
- Tasks is a centralized task inbox that shows your tasks and your group's tasks. You can
access your tasks by clicking the Tasks icon (
).
- 360° relationship view
- The 360º view feature enables you to view the relationships between a selected record and related objects, such as controls, risks, and entity types. The 360º view also enables you to interact with all records displayed. For more information, refer to 360° Relationship Visualization.
- Breadcrumb navigation
- The breadcrumb style navigation provides a browser path to navigate a hierarchy of linked pages with related content. The breadcrumb style navigation provides a digital trail from the user's starting point to the current content, with the ability to navigate to each link. - Consolidated issues page
- The comprehensive issue management page shows you a detailed status of your issues. For
example, you can see overdue issues, issues approaching the overdue date, issues by priority
and so on. You can also see the issues assigned to you and your group. This feature makes
issue tracking easy. You can access your issues by clicking the Issue landing page icon
