Schedule a meeting from a touchpoint

    About this task

    Schedule meetings directly from a touchpoint record to coordinate customer-facing and internal engagements without switching tools. Meetings are linked to the originating touchpoint, preserving the full context of the customer interaction and making the scheduled engagement visible to everyone on the account team. After the meeting, share a summary with the customer as an email and capture post-meeting observations and follow-up actions using internal notes. Use this when you need to align stakeholders, conduct discovery sessions, or plan recurring check-ins as part of a structured customer engagement.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace.
    2. Select the List icon .
    3. Navigate to Touchpoints > All Touchpoints.
      To view your touchpoints, select My Touchpoints.
    4. Open a touchpoint record that you want to work with.
    5. Navigate to the Meetings tab.
    6. Select New.
    7. On the Create New Meeting form, fill in the fields.
      For a description of the field values, see Create new meeting form.
    8. Optional: Add attachments to your meeting.
      • Drag a file on to the Attachments pane.
      • Select Select file to browse and attach a file.
      The maximum file size that you can upload is 1024 MB.
    9. Select Save.

    Result

    The meeting is scheduled and an invite with the agenda is sent to all invitees. You can view saved meetings from the touchpoint's Meetings tab.
