The integration of Employee Center with Privacy Management provides all employees and users a simplified
user experience to perform tasks such as submitting a privacy impact assessment for a new
implementation, responding to control attestations, and accessing processing activities and
privacy impact assessments.
Employee Center
The Employee Center portal is a unified portal that helps connect systems
across the enterprise to one destination site that provides a simple and centralized experience
for employees with easy to configure options. To learn more about the Employee Center, refer to Exploring Employee Center.
If you integrate Privacy Management with the Employee Center, you can provide all employees an interface to create a privacy
impact assessment that would result in the creation of a processing activity. Only users with
the roles sn_privacy.assessment_responder and sn_privacy.business_user can view the option to
create a privacy impact assessment. The following image shows the page from where you can submit
a new implementation request. For example, a team can use the Employee Center if
a business plans a new implementation. Before creating a business application record, the team
can contact the privacy team by responding to the Privacy Impact Assessment for the new
implementation request. This helps to get the privacy team’s guidance in the initial or
inception phase of the new implementation.Figure 1. Privacy management integration with Employee center
Risk portal
If a privacy analyst assigns a processing activity to a business user to get more details on
the processing activity, the business users can access the assigned processing activity from the
risk portal. Figure 2. Accessing GRC tasks on the Risk portal
