Use the Overview tab to gain a quick understanding of how
robust your business continuity and emergency plans are. This tab gives an overview of the
scores of important plan elements, each as a scorecard.
Before you begin
Role required: sn_bcm.program_manager, sn_bcm.planner
About this task
Your emergency action plan must be customized to your
workplace and include information about all potential sources of emergencies. The plan
must be comprehensive with details of:
the assets that have to be recovered
the teams that are responsible for the recovery of each type of asset
a designated group to which the plan is assigned
an owner identified to the assignment group
documentation detailing how the plan must be executed
Procedure
Navigate to Business Continuity > Business Continuity Workspace.
Click the lists icon ().
Click In Draft state in the Planning list.
Click the link to the plan record in the Name
column.
In the Overview tab, you can see the scorecards that are graphical representations of the progress of the plan for making it complete towards its goal.
The different scorecards that are available to view in the Overview tab depends on the value that has been selected in the Plan authoring type field
of the configure-bcp-template.html used in this plan.
Note:
If your plan is in Approved state, then you can view the Plan Usage and Results section. However, you can view all the details of a plan in the
Plan Details section irrespective of the plan being in any state. For more information, see Plan overview scorecards for plan usage details.
To complete the documentation sections that are in Pending state, identify teams and individuals for the unassigned recovery teams, or assign groups to carry out specific plan activities, click go to
section icon () in the respective scorecard widget to add the required information and set the plan to complete.
To add contributors to the plan, click the Contributors
field to select the users.

To make a business continuity plan complete and robust, you need inputs from
people who can assist and contribute information on the plan. These
contributors can also be users to whom you can assign specific tasks. You
can add as many contributors as the plan requires.
To remove a contributor from the plan if no longer required, click the
Remove button next to the name of the
contributor.
