  • You must first configure the Now Assist for Care Team Operations application so that care teams can use the agentic AI capabilities in Care Team Mobile or Care Team Portal.

    Configuration overview

    1. Install Now Assist for Care Team Operations

      You can install the Now Assist for Care Team Operations application (sn_hco_now_assist) if you have the admin role.

    2. Activate Now Assist in Virtual Agent for case intake

      Activate Virtual Agent and set it to discoverable to allow case intake within the Request care team assistance agentic workflow.

    3. Enable the Case creation AI agent to create cases

      Activate the HCO case intake is complete trigger within AI Agent Studio for the Case creation AI agent to create cases after case intake.

    4. Enable Now Assist in AI Search for case intake

      Enable AI search so that users can start the case intake process from the search menu in Care Team Portal.

    5. Enable the Now Assist icon in Care Team Mobile

      Set up the Now Assist icon within Care Team Mobile so users can leverage the Request care team assistance agentic workflow in Care Team Mobile.

    6. Manage domain intelligence for AI agents

      When you install Now Assist for Healthcare Operations, a knowledge base article is added that lets agents in the Request care team assistance agentic workflow create different Care Team Operations cases.
