  • The privacy manager develops and maintains company policies and regulations.

    A privacy manager has the sn_privacy.manager role. Privacy managers do the following:
    • Manage and monitor the overall organization-level privacy risk and compliance posture.​ The risk and compliance posture refers to the overall risk and compliance status of an organization across business processes, or business applications, and so on based on the risk scores, and compliant and non-compliant status of controls across various regulations.
    • Develop and implement privacy regulations, authority documents,​ policies, and privacy risk statements.
    • Review privacy regulatory requirements and policies​.
    • Design and monitor risks and controls to deal with breaches of privacy regulations and internal policies.​
    • Plan privacy programs and scope entities.
    • Create privacy impact assessment templates.​
    • Perform privacy risk assessments to understand the criticality of the processing activities.
    • Continuously monitor control effectiveness and recommend effective improvements.
    • ​Supervise the privacy compliance team.​
    • Report the compliance posture to management and the board of directors​.
