Configure a BIA template

    • Configure a business impact analysis (BIA) template in the Business Continuity Workspace. Select the type of elements, impact categories, and dependencies to be assessed.

    Role required: sn_bcm.admin

    About this task

    You can use the following preconfigured BIA templates that are provided with the base system.
    • Application Technical Impact Assessment
    • BIA for Business processes
    • Business Process Impact Assessment
    • Business Service Impact Assessment
    • Data Center Analysis Template
    • Service Offering Impact Assessment
    • Workplace Impact Assessment
    You can also configure a BIA template for your specific requirement.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Business Continuity > BIA Configuration > BIA Templates.
    2. Select New.

      You can use the preconfigured BIA templates in the instance or select this option to configure a BIA template.

    3. On the form, fill in the fields.
      For more information on the fields in the form, see BIA template form.
    4. Select Submit.
      The BIA template is configured in the instance.
