  • Manage the source document tasks, the associated source document alerts, and other relevant details in the Regulatory Change Tasks module. Use these tasks to identify and comply with the source document changes.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_grc_reg_change.manager or sn_grc_reg_change.user

    About this task

    A source document import task is used to ingest a particular source document that is received from the provider into the regulatory library.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Application > Regulatory Change Management > Source Document Import Tasks.
    2. Select a source document import task.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Assignment group Assignment group for the record. The group is selected from the Group Hierarchy table.
      Approver type Approver type for the task. Choices are as follows:
      • User
      • Group
      Due date Due date for the source document import task.
      Regulatory alert Name of the regulatory alert.
      Instructions Instructions for the task.
      Assigned to Name of the person who is assigned the task.
      Approver Approver of the source document import task. When the Approver type field is set to Group, the request is sent to the group members.
      Approved on Date when the source document import task is approved.
      Activity Journal Activity log where the sn_grc_reg_change.user can add comments.
      Related list
      Similar source documents Records of similar source documents.
      Action Tasks Action tasks related to the import document tasks. Click New to add new action tasks.
      Issues Issues observed during the regulatory change workflow or the source document workflow.
      Approvers Approvers of the import document task. This list displays the approval records that get created when an approval is requested.
    4. To apply your changes, do one of the following:
      • To update the selected source document import task, click Update.
      • To save the changes, click Work in Progress.
    5. To request an approval for the source document import task, click Request Approval.

    Result

    A new citation is inserted or an existing citation is updated.
