Create an Importance and impact tolerance assessment for a business service

  • Create an Importance and impact tolerance assessment for a business service in Operational Resilience Workspace. By seeing your customer responses to the questions in the assessment questionnaire, you can measure the importance of your business service and its impact on your customers.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_oper_res.user, sn_oper_res.manager

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Operational Resilience Workspace > List > Importance and impact tolerance assessment > All assessments.
      The Importance and impact tolerance assessments in the Operational Resilience application are displayed in the All assessments form as shown in the following example.

    2. Select New.

      This action creates an assessment form where you can add the details about the assessment.

    3. In the Name and Description fields, enter the name and description for the assessment.
    4. In the Assessment template field, select Importance and Impact Tolerance Template.
    5. In the Assignees panel, select the owner, approver, and assessor for the assessment.
      Note:
      The owner of the assessment can't be its approver.

    6. In the Assessment due date field under the Milestones panel, select the due date for the assessment.
    7. Select Save.

      You've created an assessment in the Draft state. The details of the assessment are displayed in the assessment form as shown in the following example.

      In the Services tab, you can associate a service to the assessment. The Services tab is displayed on the assessment form as shown in the following example.

      When the assessment is complete, the Services tab displays the information about the associated service, such as its name, owner, importance, overridden importance, impact tolerance, and overridden impact tolerance.
