Access to the dashboard requires installation of either the Software Asset Management or Hardware Asset Management application, and the user must have the snitamcommon.assetexec role. The dashboard is accessible via Asset Executive Workspace > Asset Management Executive Dashboard.

- Actual Savings: Displays realized savings from software reclamation or monthly cloud resource savings (cloud savings shown only if Software Asset Management is installed).
- Potential Savings: Estimates cost reductions possible through reclamations or cloud resource optimizations, including rightsizing and unused resources.
- Assessment Fulfillment Time: Visualizes how quickly software or hardware requests are fulfilled, grouped by days taken to close requests.
- Success Goals: Tracks completed software success goals and associated savings (available only with Software Asset Workspace plugin).
- Missing Hardware Assets: Counts hardware assets marked as missing, lost, or stolen (hardware-focused).
- Software True-Up Cost: Reflects costs for software products currently in use.
- Contract Expiry in 90 Days: Alerts on software and hardware contracts expiring soon, combining counts if both applications are installed.
- Assets Pulled from Pool vs Net New Purchase: Compares asset fulfillment from inventory versus new purchases, applicable separately for software, hardware, or cloud assets.

To access the Asset Management Executive dashboard, you must either have the Software Asset Management application or the Hardware Asset Management application in your ServiceNow instance.
To view the Asset Management Executive dashboard, navigate to . A user with the role of sn_itam_common.asset_exec can access the dashboard.
You can filter the results in the dashboard by product, domain, or by both product and domain. If you filter by domain, the filter gets applied to all the widgets. If you filter by product, since some widgets are specific to certain products, the filter is not applied to all the widgets.
- 0: Indicates that no filter is applied to a widget.
- 1: Indicates that only one filter is applied to a widget.
- 2: Indicates that both the filters are applied to a widget.
The scheduled job, Asset Management - Populate KPI aggregate table, runs daily to update the data on the dashboard. To view the latest data for a widget, click the widget to display the list view page.
