  • A finding is a reference to a record that has violated a rule from a check on the instance. You can find the source record and the number of times the record triggered rules of a given check.

    Navigate to Findings to view a list of scan findings on your instance. Select a link under the Created column to drill down and view granular details related to a finding:

    • Check: The list of checks associated with the scan.
    • Category: The security category associated with the scan. For example, access control or malicious code.
    • Count: The number of times the record violated check rules.
    • Priority: The severity of the security risk: 1 is highest priority while 4 is lowest.
    • Result: The status and type of scan.
    • Check Version: The change version of the check.
    • Source Table: The record that has violated a rule from the check.
    • Mute Reason: The reason for muting the finding.
    • Source: The date the finding was created.
    • Task: Is used to facilitate task assignments from the finding of a record.
    • Domain: Defines what you can and cannot access.
    • Short Description: A brief explanation of the scan.
    • Resolution Details: Instructions on how to resolve the scan issues.
