Hardening score comparison
Gain visibility to the health of your hardening settings and use this data to improve the security posture of your instance.
The hardening score comparison page displays any hardening settings with changes in compliance status between the first and second dates, and how they have impacted the hardening compliance score. For example, if a setting changed from compliant to non-compliant, the score would have decreased.
To see results of these changes enter an Older date and Recent date in the date picker at the top right of the page, and then select Compare. Following is an explanation of each card:
- Hardening compliance score: Shows the compliance score of your instance as a percentage on the first and second dates that you selected.
- Changed settings' score impact by priority: Shows the number of hardening settings that have changed their compliance status between the two dates, organized by priority value.
- Changed settings' score impact by security area: Shows the number of hardening settings that changed compliance status between the two dates, organized by security area.
- Changed hardening settings: Shows the list of hardening settings that changed compliance statues between the two dates. You can review settings that became non-compliant and decreased your hardening comparison score for opportunities to make them compliant to increase your score. For example, in the following screen shot the compliance score increased which indicates that the security posture improved during this duration.
