Configure model and asset tabs in the Enterprise Asset Workspace

    • Enable Enterprise Asset Management administrators to configure model and asset tabs to show or hide these tabs from the Enterprise model management view and the Enterprise asset estate view.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_eam.enterprise_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Enterprise Asset Workspace > Admin center.
    2. Select New in the Model and asset class tabs configuration page.
      The Create New Model and Asset Configuration page opens.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.
      FieldDescription
      Model category A model category whose model or asset tab you want to show or hide.
      Include in tab Indicates that the selected model category appears as a tab in the Enterprise model management view and in the Enterprise asset estate view. This check box is selected by default. If you unselect this check box, the model category will no longer appear as a tab in the Enterprise model management view and in the Enterprise asset estate view.
      Note:
      It's not a valid configuration to have this check box set to true and theInclude in dialog box value set to false.
      Include in dialog box. Indicates that the selected model category appears in the Enterprise model management view and in the Enterprise asset estate view on selecting the New button. This check box is selected by default. If you unselect this check box, the selected model category will no longer appear in the Model category list on selecting the All enterprise tab and then selecting New.
      Note:
      It's not a valid configuration to have this check box set to false and theInclude in tab value set to true.
      Domain The domain of the model category.
    4. Select Save.
      The model and asset tab entry you created appears in the Model and asset class tabs configuration page.
