Care Team Operations for Biomed contains the case types to report and fulfill biomed issues in hospitals.
Care Team Operations for Biomed provides care teams with a streamlined platform to report medical device or other biomed issues. Using the Care Team portal, care team members can raise an issue with the Biomed case type. A work order is then automatically created, which service agents in the Biomed department then manage using Workspace as they fix the issue.
There are two types of service requests available with Care Team Operations for Biomed:
- Report a medical device issue
- Request other Biomed service

Care Team Operations for Biomed requires installation of the Healthcare Operations Core and Care Team Portal plugins.

- An administrator configures the Care Team Operations for Biomed application.
