Terminate process on your device

  • Terminate processe on your device to boost performance and free up valuable resources for smoother operation.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_dex.engineer or sn_dex.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace and from the left pane, select the Devices icon (The Devices icon.).

    2. Select Running processes.

    3. On the right pane, select the Action library icon (Actions library icon.).
    4. In the End process card, select Start.

      When you select the Action Library icon, the Action Library pane opens, allowing you to initiate the process termination.
    5. Select the End process card that now shows the process state as New.
    6. Under Get user approval card, select the User approved action check box and select Submit.

      You have to provide the parameters of the running process you wish to terminate.

    7. In the Process ID field, enter the corresponding process ID obtained from the PID column.

    8. Select Submit.

      The process is terminated.

    What to do next

    Select the Playbook icon (Playbook icon) to access the current action of the device and also to review the device's action execution history.
