Vancouver	Monitor the emissions generation and energy efficiency of your hardware assets using the Sustainable IT application Use the Sustainable IT application to track your sustainability performance, such as the energy consumption and emissions of your hardware assets. The application provides valuable insights through a dashboard, enabling you to make informed decisions on whether to retire or repurpose these assets. Using this application, you can also monitor the emission performance of all your datacenters and identify your most environmentally friendly or greenest datacenters. Set up percentage-based thresholds for metric data Use the ability to include thresholds in percentages so that the threshold calculation is dynamic. Dynamic thresholds enable you to compute the red, amber, green thresholds for metric data. These thresholds are expressed as percentage difference from the previous period's data. This means that the threshold rating is calculated based on two factors: direction and the previous data. Create groups and manage related lists and UI pages Leverage the ability to configure the related lists on a form. Being able to configure related lists enables users to tailor the layout and organization of information according to their specific needs and preferences. This flexibility enhances user experience and efficiency by presenting relevant data in a logical and intuitive manner. Use the new role sn_grc_metric.developer to edit the script in automated metric definition Enhance the security of your scripts by limiting the script editing capabilities to the sn_grc_metric.developer role.
Washington DC	Narrative disclosures for comprehensive ESG reporting Integrate with Microsoft 365 for ServiceNow Reporting to create governed narrative disclosures. Add predefined templates for each type of disclosure. You can choose to maintain disclosures locally or link to cloud services like Microsoft OneDrive for easy accessibility. Enable collaboration and review of the disclosures. Track the metrics used in the disclosures and monitor changes to the metrics while receiving notifications to issue timely restatements. Sustainable IT dashboard enhanced with the IT footprint tab Navigate to the IT footprint tab on the Sustainable IT dashboard to view a global map showcasing the carbon footprint of your datacenters, office buildings, and more. This map highlights your most energy-efficient facilities. Formula builder enhanced for calculations in calculated metric definitions Use the formula builder to build formulae in a calculated metric definition, you can choose to build it at either the metric definition level or at the entity level. You can type and edit the formula and preview it. You can also directly import any formula that is stored in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets into a calculated metric definition. This import helps in quickly building your formula for performing calculations. Integration with Advanced risk assessments to assess ESG risks Use the ESG risk management capability to assess and evaluate ESG risks for businesses. This feature is an integration of ESG Management with Advanced risk assessment and supports both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methods. This integration enables entity-based risk assessments and material topics risk assessment and rolls up the risk scores for entities. With the ESG risk management application, several new roles are also added. Enhanced metric data table The metric data table has been enhanced to show the complete metric definition names.
Xanadu	Track scope 3 emissions Track Scope 3 emissions using the Scope 3 dashboard to fully grasp and manage your organization's environmental impact. These emissions constitute the largest part of your greenhouse gas output, stemming from indirect sources. This comprehensive understanding aids in regulatory compliance, and obtaining full carbon footprint disclosures. After you identify your scope 3 emission sources, you can take action to mitigate the largest sources of indirect emissions. View emission factors in ESG content accelerator Use the to automatically obtain the emission factors that are published by the standard sources. Emission factors are coefficients that quantify the emissions produced per unit of activity, material, or energy consumption. They’re crucial for calculating the amount of greenhouse gases (GHGs) or pollutants emitted into the atmosphere based on various activities. Create fiscal calendars to collect metrics from different geographical locations Collect, aggregate, and report data according to your fiscal calendars that could be different from the standard Gregorian calendar. Many global organizations might have operations in different countries that could follow their own fiscal calendars. This feature enables the entities in other locations to collect data according to their own fiscal calendars. Choose the approval flow for metrics Set the sn_esg.metric_approval property to use either a simple approval flow for your metrics and metric definitions or use the GRC: Approver Configurator to define multiple levels of approvals based on the business rule definitions. This property has two choices. If you choose the Simple option, the Approval section is enabled both on the manual metric definition form and within the metrics. Using this section, you can designate approvers directly on the metric definition form. This option has a single level of approval. If you choose the Advanced option, the Approval section is unavailable on the manual metric definition form and within the metrics, helping to prevent you from assigning approvers there. Instead, approval can be obtained by setting the approval conditions, tables, and approvers in the GRC: Approver Configurator application. This application also enables you to define multiple levels of approvals. Create ad hoc metric data tasks Handle off-cycle requests for up-to-date information on existing metric definitions and metrics by creating ad hoc metric data tasks. These tasks address off-cycle requests and provide the latest information. Metric data table Use the enhanced filters on the metric data table to filter your tasks. The filters help to show only the relevant and open tasks for data owners and approvers. Identify the energy usage and emission of every asset Use the Sustainable IT dashboard to explore models within a specific category and view the energy consumption of each asset model and all its assets, listed in descending order. This functionality provides deeper insights into your energy usage, helping you identify the models that are in use and are consuming the most energy.
Yokohama	Forecast planning and analysis Model and prepare for potential outcomes by using forecast planning analysis. With these tools, you can create, save, or visualize multiple scenarios. Formula tree Explore the calculated metric definitions by reviewing a structured and visual representation of the entire calculation chain. By using a formula tree, you can access the calculation details and view how the different metrics and emission factors are interconnected. Historical metric data Import the historical metric data by using a pre-defined import template with instructions. With this process, you can update and manage the metric data within your organization and help to ensure that all data complies with the established business rules. Dynamic filtering for Microsoft 365 for ServiceNow Reporting Filter the fields dynamically and set up dependencies by using related fields. In the Microsoft 365 add-in, you can configure fields so that cascading filters are supported dynamically. You can select a value in a field and have the related fields automatically update to show the relevant options. This process helps you to streamline data entry and improve efficiency.
Zurich	Support estimation when actual data isn’t available Enable organizations to provide estimated data when actual data is unavailable. Use standardized or personalized custom methods to confirm accurate and reliable ESG reporting. Approve automated metric definitions Configured a new approval stage for automated metric definitions, confirming that collected data undergoes review before being added to relevant tables. This improves data accuracy and governance for automated metric definitions. DEX integration with Sustainable IT Dashboard Real-time energy consumption data from DEX is now integrated into the ESG Sustainable IT Dashboard. This enhances sustainability reporting for IT assets, providing real-time usage trends, total energy consumption, and detailed regional and model insights, thereby supporting more accurate and actionable ESG initiatives. Claims for reporting Track and reuse narratives or statements for disclosures and reports. Claims play a crucial role in disclosures, highlighting key achievements and commitments while confirming actionable and credible reporting. This enhances the efficiency, consistency, and credibility of your sustainability disclosures. Provide responses for multiple metrics This release brings multiple improvements that aim to improve the overall functionality and usability of the Environmental, Social, and Governance Management: Enhanced Metric data task filtering by approval level. Various bug fixes and UI enhancements for a better user experience. Analytics dashboard Introduction of Platform Analytics view in ESG Management for creating dashboards and reports. Creating claims from O365 Enhanced the Microsoft 365 plugin to enable creating and submitting claims directly from Microsoft Word to ServiceNow, streamlining the claims process. Emission factor enhancements Updated calculated metric definition calculation logic to automatically recalculate data when emission factor values change, using the new values for dates within the validity period. This confirms that the metrics data is consistent and accurate. Forecast planning The forecast planning now includes support for both manual and automated metric definitions and metrics, in addition to calculated metric definitions. This enhancement enables for more flexible and accurate forecasting across a wider range of metrics. You can adjust values either as absolute amounts or as percentages, making it easier to model various scenarios and anticipate future trends. Entity based assess Entity-based access aims to provide a more granular approach to data access, confirming that users can only access data through entity-based access. The entity-based access has been enabled for metrics, metric data tasks, metric data, metric data by entity and metric threshold. Administrators can grant access to an entity's related records by adding users or user groups, or by using entity user fields for entity-based access configuration. Upload a disclosure document Claims Disclosure enables you to create and link claims directly from Word documents using the ServiceNow add-in. Once uploaded, claims are automatically synced and created in to the relevant disclosures, confirming traceability and simplifying ESG reporting. Activate default values for CMD calculations Default values for operands in CMD formulas can now be defined in the Calculated Metric Definition Settings table. When an operand value is missing during formula execution, the system automatically retrieves and applies the specified default value, confirming uninterrupted calculations. Default values can be customized or new records added to meet specific calculation requirements. Update a metric definition When renaming a metric definition, an option is available to apply the change to associated child metrics. Selected child metric names are updated, and their related metric data tasks automatically reflect the new name, confirming consistency across all linked elements. Components installed with ESG Management Updated ESG Management roles to update compliance feature roles. The following roles are updated: sn_esg.data_owner sn_esg.program_manager sn_grc_metric.admin sn_grc_metric.manager sn_grc_metric.user ESG content accelerator The Unified Content Accelerator has been renamed to Unified Content Management. Its user interface has been redesigned for improved usability and intuitive workflows, while retaining core functionality. Emission factor library Audit tracking is now enabled by default on Emission Factor tables, confirming that every modification is automatically recorded in a secure audit log. You can review detailed entries, including the user who initiated the change, the timestamp, the type of update, and the modified data values. General guidelines for formula building You can now select any emission factor when creating a calculated metric definition (CMD), regardless of unit type. This update removes that constraint, enabling broader formula combinations and supporting sustainability scenarios where unit alignment isn’t required for calculations.

Material topic table updated The State field in the sn_esg_material_topic table has been updated to include states for risk assessment. The Review state of a material topic has also been renamed to Approval. Microsoft 365 for ServiceNow Reporting table updated The sn_esg_msoff_intg_o365_reporting_configuration table has been updated with the track_configuration field New tables added to the ESG Management application The following new tables are added to the ESG Management application: sn_esg_disclosure_detail sn_esg_disclosure_related_documents sn_esg_disclosure_template sn_esg_m2m_disclosure_metric_data_by_entity New table added to the GRC: Metrics application The sn_grc_metric_md_import table is added to the GRC: Metrics application. Xanadu	ESG program manager role enhanced The ESG program manager (sn_esg.program_manager) can now create, read, update, and delete emission factors. Changes in the metric tables Enhanced the following metric related tables with read access control lists (ACLs): Metric definition Metric Metric data Metric data task Metric data task url With this change, the following changes are in effect: Metric level Approver user or Approver group: This means that the specified user or group designated as the approver can access only the particular metric and the tables specified for which they are the approver. Multi-level approval: This means that the specified user or group designated as the approver can access only those records in the metric related tables for which they are the approver. Enable enterprise owners to access metric records: This means that an enterprise owner can access any metric related record.
Yokohama	Result types If you have the ESG manager [sn_esg.metric_manager] role, you can now configure either text, choice, or HTML format options for responses to qualitative metric data tasks that are related to manual metric definitions, including both initial and overridden responses. These options help you achieve more precision and detail in your data collection process. Metric data table filters and side panel enhancements If you have the ESG data owner [sn_esg.data_owner] role, you can now apply filters by using the filter menu and reject or approve tasks from the metric data table side panel. Data owners can now multi-submit and assign approvers to multi-approve or reject tasks, with the option to use choice and HTML response formats. Data owner assignment types If you have the ESG Manager [sn_esg.metric_manager] role, you can now configure the Data Owner Assignment type to be either simple or advanced for manual metric definitions. When you select the Simple option, the system assigns the specified Data Owner or Data Owner Group to the Metric Data Task. If you choose the Advanced assignment option, which is available with the GRC: Approver Configurator application, you can set custom configuration conditions, tables, or data owners to dynamically assign data owners. Table added to the GRC: Metrics application The following tables were added to the GRC: Metrics application: sn_grc_metric_import_job sn_grc_metric_data_import sn_grc_metric_st_import_log sn_grc_metric_st_transform_history sn_grc_metric_import_template Table added to the application The sn_esg_content_issb_citation table was added to the application. Avoid calculation inconsistencies caused by missing operand values. The Calculated Metric Definition Settings table enables specifying default values for operands, confirming smooth execution and flexible configuration. When renaming a metric definition, there’s an option to apply the updated name to its child metrics and their associated metric data tasks. Enabled audit tracking for emission factor tables and all changes are automatically logged for compliance and traceability. Removed the unit restrictions between calculated metric definitions and emission factors, enabling any emission factor to be applied regardless of unit.
