Important information for upgrading ITOM Cloud Accelerate to Zurich
Before you upgrade to Zurich, review these pre- and post-upgrade tasks and complete the tasks as needed.

- Use Guided Setup to step through the initial configuration of Cloud Services Catalog. The process tracks what you have completed, so that you can stop and start again where you left off.

- Use the various Out Of Box Catalogs for Cloud Service requests and automation from Cloud Services. In addition, you can publish your own catalog items for all supported cloud providers. You can also publish legacy and

- Out of Box Catalogs: Order a variety of AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform Out Of Box cloud resources directly from the Employee Center, including Linux/Windows VMs, load balancers, firewalls, Microsoft Azure functions, scalable web servers, DynamoDB databases, and S3 storage buckets. Use these Out Of Box Catalogs for Cloud Service requests and automation from Cloud Services.
In addition, you can publish your own catalog items for all supported cloud providers. You can also publish legacy and custom catalog items from Cloud Provisioning and Governance to Employee Center. For more information, see Set up Amazon Web Services on Cloud Services Catalog, Set up Microsoft Azure Cloud on Cloud Services Catalog and Setting up Google Cloud Platform on Cloud Services Catalog.
- Domain separation: Use the domain separation feature, now supported in the Cloud Services Catalog application, to manage multiple domains securely and seamlessly.
- CSC Cloud Services request process: Use the Request processes and pages for ordering Cloud Services.
- Stacks management: Manage deployed cloud resources through intuitive categorization, sorting, and status filtering options on the My Stacks management page.
- Resources management: Discover and interact with resources, empowering ownership and management through designated operators on the My Resources management page.
- Integrations: Use Azure DevOps CICD Pipeline Integration or Ansible Integration.

- Cloud Account Management is the first feature from ITOM Cloud Accelerate in the Cloud Workspace application that brings together ServiceNow cloud solutions in a unified experience as part of the Cloud Governance Suite.

- Configure a custom catalog ID in Cloud Account Management account request

Users with the cw_admin role can set which catalog to use for Cloud Account Management (CAM) requests by updating the
sn_itom_cam.cam_catalog_id system property. This property is set by default to the base
system CAM catalog.
- Viewing Cloud Account Management dashboards
- Access the Compliance dashboard, Overview page, and Cloud assets dashboard through the Cloud Asset Explorer section in the new Monitor and Track tab.
- Compliance dashboard: View data across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and OCI accounts in one centralized location.
- Overview page:
- View total discovered assets, grouped by cloud provider and categorized into Compute, Databases, Virtual Machines, and Storage categories on the Overview page.
- Monitor total accounts by provider, with change tracking since the last update.
- Cloud assets dashboard:
- Governance and operations teams can monitor, track, and act on compliance and asset details through the Cloud assets dashboard.
- Identify missing ownership information for accounts to support accountability and audit readiness.
- Asset viewers can drill down to view detailed information for each configuration item (CI).
- Viewing the home page in Cloud Account Management

- Visualize growth trends across cloud providers with a time-based graph showing account activity.
- Leverage direct access to Cloud Discovery Workspace and Cloud Cost Management from the dashboard.
- Use filters like cloud provider and business unit to refine the dashboard view for tailored insights.
- Cloud Provisioning and Governance
- The legacy workflows are no longer supported starting with the Zurich release. You can continue using existing custom workflows and deprecated base system workflows but use the new base system Flows for all future needs. In the Zurich release, the Cloud resource operation request and Blueprint request workflows have been migrated to subflows.

The Cloud Service Catalog application is available with ITOM Cloud Accelerate entitlements. The ITOM Cloud Accelerate features are available as separate applications in the Cloud Accelerate store.
You must have ServiceNow Employee Center as a prerequisite to launch and use the Cloud Services Catalog application.
Install the ITOM Cloud Accelerate features by requesting them from the ServiceNow store.
To use the ITOM Cloud Accelerate features, you must have a valid Cloud Accelerate entitlement. Contact your ServiceNow sales representative to procure the Cloud Accelerate entitlement.
Licenses Migration: If you have exchangeable Cloud Optimization licenses, contact your ServiceNow accounts representative to migrate your licenses to ITOM Cloud Accelerate without charge.
