Skip button unresponsive or not visible in playbooks

  • After you upgrade to Washington DC, you may notice that if the Skip button (skip declarative action) with Sys ID 8082dd18ff321010834953bd6338f1e9 is used in any of the playbooks, then this Skip button is either not visible or is unresponsive unless you fill in the required fields for the activity.

    About this task

    Important:
    Do these steps only if the Sys ID of the Skip button used in your playbook is 8082dd18ff321010834953bd6338f1e9. For more information, see the KB article KB1647803.

    Procedure

    1. Log in to the instance with the maint role.
    2. Create a new update set and select it as the current set.
    3. Navigate to All > Playbook Experience > Actions > Playbook Actions.
    4. Select the Show/hide filter icon (Show/hide filter icon.) to open the condition builder.
    5. Create the following conditions.
      Field Operator Value Dependent condition
      Action Model is Playbook Card AND
      Sys ID is 8082dd18ff321010834953bd6338f1e9
    6. Select Run.
    7. Open the Skip record.
    8. Deselect the Form Fields Required check box.
    9. Select Update.
    10. Set the state of the update set you created in step 2 to Completed.
