    A target specification record includes the details of a product inventory item in the compatibility rule. After you create a compatible record, you can configure the characteristics of your target specification.

    Procedimento

    1. Navigate to All > Product Catalog Management > Compatibility Rule.
    2. In the Compatibility Rules list, select the compatibility rule that you want to define the target specification for.
    3. In the Compatibles related list, select the compatible record that you want to define the target specifications in.
    4. In the Target Configuration related table, click New and fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Specification Based on the specification that you selected when you were creating the compatible record, this field auto-populates with your product, service, or resource specification.
      Characteristic Characteristic to define the target specification in the compatible record.

      Select the characteristic that is associated with the product, service, or resource specification.

      Characteristic Option Characteristic option to define the target specification in the compatible record.

      Select the characteristic options that are associated with the product, service, or resource specification.

    5. In the Compatibility Rules list, select the compatibility rule that you created.
    6. Click Publish.

    Resultado

    A compatibility rule is created on your instance. You can now verify the horizontal relationship between the source and target specifications by validating the order related items. To learn more, see Validate the related items of a customer order for its compatibility.
