Request issuance form fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Device | Device and farm for which the issuance is requested. |
| Start date | Date when the production from the device began or is expected to begin. It is used to determine the time period over which the device has produced or will produce electricity, and is used in the calculation of the RECs to be issued. |
| End date | Date on which the production period for the device ended. This may be the date when the device was decommissioned or taken out of operation, or it may be a specific date that marks the end of a particular production period for the device. The production period end date is used to determine the total amount of electricity produced by the device during the specified production period. |
| KWh | Total Kwh produced in this period. |
| Labeling scheme | System of labels or tags that have been assigned to the production device based on certain criteria or standards that is Energy Star or LEED. |
| Percentage eligible power | Percentage of eligible energy that is being applied for in the REC issuance request. |
| Type A | Settlement Metering data – refers to the data collected from meters that are used for settlement purposes, meaning that they are used to measure the quantity of electricity being produced or consumed, and are used to calculate payments or charges for the electricity. This type of data is typically used for billing and accounting purposes. It is usually collected at regular intervals, such as hourly or daily, and can be used to track the production or consumption of electricity over time. |
| Type B | Non-settlement Metering data – refers to data related to the measurement of electricity production or consumption that is not used for settlement purposes. This means that the data is not used to determine the financial obligations or credits of the parties involved in the electricity market. Non-settlement metering data may be used for other purposes, such as reporting or monitoring the performance of a production or consumption device. |
| Type C | Measured Volume Transfer documentation – refers to a type of documentation that is used to confirm the transfer of a specific volume of energy from the production device to a third party. This documentation typically includes information about the volume of energy transferred, the date and time of the transfer, and the parties involved in the transaction. This type of documentation is often used in REC issuance requests as evidence of the volume of energy produced and consumed by the device. |
| Type D | Other – refers to any type of production device or energy source that does not fit into the other categories. |
| Target | Is the production of this electricity counted towards a national, sub-national or regulatory target? |
| Public consumption obligation | Is any of this production subject to a public consumption obligation? |
| Retained right | Do you retain the right to obtain emissions reduction certificates or carbon offsets for the energy nominated in this Issuance Request? |
| Last registration date | The date when the device was registered with a particular organization or system, or the date when the device was last updated or modified in some way. |
