Bulk import Taxonomies

    • Import the taxonomy records.

    Role required: sn_sec_tisc.admin

    About this task

    You can import the taxonomies using the data from the spreadsheet. This enables you to import multiple records in bulk.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Threat Intelligence Security Center > Administration > Taxonomies.
    2. Select Import button.
      This action opens an action to import the data file in XLSX or CSV format. you can also download the sample file to understand the format to import. The file format contains two values which includes Taxonomy and Taxonomy Value.
    3. Click Add file link.
    4. Select the file and Upload.
    5. Click Done.
      A confirmation message displays that the data from the file attached are imported successfully. You can click on the link to view the import summary. By clicking on the link, the record opens in a new tab. You can view the count of taxonomies and taxonomy values created and if there are any errors that are logged it then it will be logged in the import errors section.
      Note:
      By default, all these taxonomies and taxonomy values are created with the status as enabled. If you want to disable, then you can always do it from the list view.
    6. On the Taxonomies page, you can click on any record, this action will show the taxonomy values as a separate tab and you can see the two taxonomy values which are imported successfully, and these taxonomy values will be in the enabled status.
    7. Also, to view any of the taxonomy imports, you can always navigate to the Imports section, the imported taxonomies are displayed under Taxonomy Imports section.
    8. Click All Imports to view all taxonomy imports created by different users in the application.
    9. Click My Imports to see the taxonomy imports for the current logged in user.
