In Salesforce-integrated use cases, the configurable product is the link between the CPQ blueprint and a Salesforce Product2 record. In the context of Salesforce CPQ, a configurable product is the entry point to a CPQ configuration experience. After the configurable product is defined, the end user will be shown the appropriate CPQ configuration experience when the user selects the Product2 record from the Product Selection step in Salesforce CPQ.

Multiple Salesforce Product2 records can be linked to one blueprint, but a configurable product cannot be associated to more than one blueprint.
