Important: If you are using or upgrading to the latest Dynatrace 3rd-generation SaaS platform, you should use the new Service Graph Connector for Observability - Dynatrace SaaS instead, as this connector is not intended for that environment.
Note that the Service Graph Connector for Observability - Dynatrace provided by ServiceNow is distinct from the similarly named connector provided by Dynatrace.
Supported Versions

- Supported ServiceNow releases: Yokohama, Zurich, and Australia
Upgrade Considerations
Before upgrading to version 1.10.0 or later of the connector, it is necessary to disable reconciliation rules for tables extending the Application [cmdbciappl] table. This prevents conflicts with other discovery sources updating those tables. Guidance is available in the Now Support Knowledge Base article KB1649455.
Configuration
Configuration of the connector is performed using the SGC Central view available in the Service Graph Workspace or CMDB Workspace. This central interface allows you to discover, install, and manage connectors and their connections throughout their lifecycle, including creation, editing, monitoring, and debugging.
The previously available guided setup method is planned for deprecation, so customers should use SGC Central for configuration unless there are specific configuration issues.
Monitoring and Management
The Integration Commons for CMDB store app provides a CMDB Integrations Dashboard that offers a centralized view of all installed integrations, including status, processing results, and errors. You can filter dashboard views by specific integrations, time ranges, or runs to monitor and troubleshoot the Dynatrace integration effectively.
