The ServiceNow Vault application provides a set of data security tools that protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, corruption, or theft throughout its entire life cycle. ServiceNow Vault was enhanced and updated in the Zurich release.

* Manage and monitor cloud encryption metrics.
* Get AI guidance using the Ask Now Assist panel in Vault console.  
* Use guided setup to begin autoclassifying sensitive data within [Financial Services](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=fso-overview&version=zurich&pubname=zurich-financial-services-operations&ft:locale=en-US) and [Customer Service Management](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=c_CustomerServiceManagement&version=zurich&pubname=zurich-customer-service-management&ft:locale=en-US) applications.

ServiceNow Vault is available in the ServiceNow Store. For details, see the "Activation information" section of these release notes.

:   Install ServiceNow Vault by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store.
